The New Clickers Group was set up to provide support to newer members of the club who were less experienced in photo techniques and were looking to receive some guidance from our more experienced members. Days out with mentors have been set up and there are a number of weekend workshops being organised. The first of these will be on Saturday February 4th in the village and will be on the basics of the image editing software, Lightroom. There may be some space for non-members. So if you are interested, just get in touch using the contact section of this website

There are lots of external competitions that members can enter to test their photographic skills and imaginative ideas against people from around the country and the world. If you are interested in trying a competition or considering gaining qualifications then why not contact Steve Myall, our resident expert on these matters. He can give you more information on how to proceed. In the first instance contact David Kissman and he will put you in touch with Steve or alternatively link to him via our Facebook page webpage
KCC Interest Groups
Additional Club Events

The club runs a number of "special interest groups" where members can come along to share images and techniques. Currently there are groups for "Competitions", "Monochrome", "Nature" and "New Clickers" for beginners.

366 Group
There are about a dozen members who have elected to participate in the 366 project which requires them to take and post an image per day to a secure Facebook page. This has been progressing very well indeed with some images of high technical skill and others with a serious level of humour! The group celebrated reaching the half ay stage with an event at The Parochial Hall where each participant was invited to share their best 6 images from those taken so far. It proved to be an entertaining evening made all the more enjoyable due to a lovely meal prepared by Sue Hall.
