Here we see two Lightweight E type Jaguars.
The car on the right of the photograph is the Briggs Cunningham entry from 1963 . Driven by Briggs himself and Grossman, it came 9th at 98.85 mph. Please see more of the Cunningham story at Le Mans in the descriptions of the two cars bearing his name appearing elsewhere in this gallery.
To the left of the photograph is the car of Jaguar's German distributor, Peter Lindner, which he drove with Peter Nocker in the 1964 race, where they retired with two blown head gaskets, caused by overheating.
