The Elise was purchased in November 2001 and has provided marvellous entertainement over the last 7 years, for myself and my two boys.
We have not competed with it, but have taken it to track days all over the country, and abroad. It is the perfect trackday car, easily driven gently on the road, and urgently on the track.
As well as re-visiting many of my old haunts from the sixties, like Cadwell Park, Oulton, Goodwood and Prescott, we have found new venues to excite, like Ty Croes, in Anglesey.
In France we have been lucky enough to visit some wonderful circuits, like Mas du Clos, Pierre Bardinon's private circuit near Aubusson, the old Grand Prix circuits at Dijon and Charade in Clermont Ferrand, and the pretty undulating Pau-Arnos, which we drove during a trip to see the historic street races at Pau itself.
