Prescott hillclimb has always been one of my very favourite venues.
Starting with the Mini in 1960, graduating to the MG Midget, firstly in standard form and then supercharged, which gave me my first class win there, to the Landar, which was magic in the wet, winning the class first time out in the monsoon like conditions of May 1966.
After a year working abroad, we dusted off the Landar for one last season, before fatherhood took over. Two years down the line it was not as competitive as before, but gave a lot of fun in the 1968 season.
Shown here on the start line at Prescott in September 1968.
