Frinny loves painting and lives in Hampshire with her husband and dog.

She studied Art and Design at Winchester and designed woven fabrics for the fashion industry for several years. Her paintings were very linear - probably influenced by the loom and love of architecture. She spent a lot of time studying metal and weathering, particularly containers and the way they age and rust.

Over time, her style has become much more free, working with different mediums, surfaces and tools. Her inspiration now comes from the South coast, the New Forest and Norfolk - where she spent her childhood.

"Exploring the amazing landscapes with their endless palette of changing colours has been so exciting. It has led me to experiment more freely with my painting and see abundant and beautiful colours in a very different way - and the dog loves his walk!"
